Your Bubbles Now Arrive by Bike
It’s eight in the morning in South East London and our new warehouse is bustling. But the quietest thing in it is our brand new delivery fleet.
Three CO2 YOU e-bikes are being loaded up with full cylinders ready to set off on their morning deliveries, driven through the streets of London by our full-time Bubble Heads, who you’ll come to recognise when they turn up at your door ready to swap your empty cylinders for full refills. Our Bubble Head spin through the streets, passing diesel vans stuck in lines of traffic before arriving at your doorstep. From canal boats to townhouses, no address is too difficult for our drivers.
When they make their way back to our warehouse at the end of the day, with a boot full to the brim with empty cylinders, they’ll unload, drop off their Bubble Head cap, and get ready for the whole ritual to repeat again tomorrow.

If you’re one of our London customers, it’s likely that your next subscription is going to be delivered by one of our team arriving on three wheels, with bubbles blowing from their roof (cause let’s be honest… if we’re launching a new logistics service, we were hardly going to be subtle about it were we?!)
Marcus never wanted to be lugging cylinders around. In 2021 our CO2 YOU founder was hauling gas cylinders home from the shops for the hundredth time. He thought it just had to be done better, way better. That’s why we exist - because he decided no one should have to make that trip, or be loading up with single-use plastic bottles. Every CO2 YOU cylinder is delivered, collected and refilled. And together, we’ve already prevented more than 60 million plastic bottles from ending up landfill.
Launching our own delivery fleet in London has come about for two reasons

We wanted to take more accountability for our deliveries. Because we deliver to your doorstep, and collect the empties in the same visit, we want to make this process as seamless as possible. Having our own delivery drivers that are full-time team members means they understand the business, the products and more importantly our customers.

We set out to be more sustainable from the start. Operating through an electric fleet means we’re continuing on our mission to reduce our carbon footprint. We also believe that sustainability works best when paired with convenience, it means you’re never compromising. We’re already seeing that having an agile delivery vehicle like a bike is making a positive difference when navigating a city like London from faster routes, to easier parking.
Even our larger gas cylinders for business now fit in our custom built e-bikes! Whether we're delivering larger cylinders to multi-storey offices, or beer gas to bustling pubs, they're out on the streets in our Bubble Bikes.
We’re hoping that London is a pilot programme for an operation that has potential to scale across the country. It’s a small first step, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the feedback and support from our customers.
We’re currently operating with four e-bikes (psst if you spot them, tag us in any content - we’d love to see it!) Initially we started with zones 1 - 3, but we’re slowly expanding, and the more customers we have in one postcode, the more people we’re able to service. If you have a neighbour who’d love CO2 YOU we’ve also just launched a new referral programme so you can get rewarded.

If you have an existing subscription with us, nothing changes! Even if it’s not one of our Bubble Heads, all your future subscription deliveries will continue as usual.
Things you might be wondering about
Are the Bubble Bikes delivering everywhere in London?
Not yet, the Bubble Bikes are currently operating around central London and our first group of postcodes around our warehouse. We can't promise that your next subscription will be delivered on one, but if it's not your delivery will still turn up exactly like they have before.
Does this change anything about my subscription?
Nope. Your refills arrive when your next subscription rolls over, and we'll still collect your empties in the same visit.
Can every cylinder type come on the Bubble Bikes?
Yes! Whether you get Screw-In, Quooker or Quick Connect, every cylinder gets delivered int he same way.
What happens to my empty cylinders?
Our Bubble Head drivers collect your empty cylinders when they deliver your refills. They then bring them back to our warehouse just as before. They get inspected, tested and refilled with more food-grade CO2 ready for another route.
Who's the person on the bike?
